Life Groups At Inspire
At Inspire Church, Life Groups are key to building significant Christian relationships and growing closer to God. Some groups are sermon-based, discussing the previous Sunday’s message, while others go through various studies.
How Do Life Groups Work?
Life Groups require a ten-week commitment, and are comprised of 10-16 people. They meet weekly to share, study God’s Word, and build relationships. The groups are offered three times a year – fall, winter, and spring, taking a break for the summer months. Below you can find some frequently asked questions.
FAQs
A Life Group is a home fellowship made up of 10-16 people who meet weekly to share, study, and support one another. A trained leader and host lead each group. An average meeting lasts for an hour and a half.
Life Groups meet on various days and evenings in homes throughout the area.
Each Life Group session lasts between 8 and 10 weeks. We have fall, winter, and spring sessions. At the end of each session, you will have the choice of staying in the same group, trying a new group, or even taking a break. Most groups stay together throughout the year. Life Groups do not meet over the summer.
Life Groups are for adults only (exceptions are made for nursing newborns). We leave it up to each group or family to work out their own childcare. Sometimes it works best for families to share a sitter. You can also hire sitters for the entire group. This gives opportunity for the kids to fellowship and grow deeper Christian friendships along with their parents. You can get a list of available sitters from Pastor Nate. This is an affordable option that works out to about $2 per child, depending on how many children are in the group.
When selecting a group, we strongly recommend you choose a group based on its leader and a common season of life. Research has shown that groups do best when members share a common season of life and other interests.
Before each Life Group quarter, we will provide multiple opportunities and ways to sign up to be in a group. One of the easiest ways is to search through the group list on this page and click to email the group leader indicating your interest.
